I thought a cool contest could be something where we have to find facts around Animal Jam. Like, for example, if you said, what animal can run [insert mph]? And then we would have to go on Animal Jam and find that fact and put the answer. - 0xLizzyx0

You could do a riddle contest! Or a poem contest! Or a short story contest! Or another drawing contest!  - SilverDawn

      No, it's not a joke. I really do love math! Well, not love, but I enjoy it. It is definetely my favorite subject in school. Right now I'm in Algebra 1. :)

      I'm going either going into Algebra 1, or an Algebra Prep class next year. Depends on my test scores, my school's weird :P They can't hold you back in a class if you were in an advanced class, they can only put you in a "less advanced" class the next year, and do to the fact I skipped a book, they can always have me do that with the addition to the class I'm SUPPOSED to go into next year, or I could just do the lessons that I'm required to know, but I'm MOST likely going into Algebra 1 next year, considering I was pretty confident during testing... I'll be 13 than .3. I hate math, and I hate that I'm actually "talented" when it comes to math because I never end up in the same classes as my friends D: That, and on the last test I got a score back on my score went up 20 =.= I guess I should be happy, but my friends were about 50 points under, I HATE that, and when they asked for my score they said I was bragging D': I wanted my score to go down so bad, I was so freaking embarrassed. That, and most kids I have classes with are tons smarter than me, and that only makes things worse. Sorry for ranting O.o

      We all love Math, but it can get a little bit complicated at times. And frustrating. But yes, I love it. Sometimes in a love/hate relationship way. But an Algebra Test might be a bit too...advanced for other bloggers. If you know what I mean. XD

      I am not trying to offend anyone in britain it means someone who is really into a subject and dont socilize much. I was calling myself a geek not anyone else. It is like in americe you say shut up as in i cant believe it and stuff but in britain it is quite rude because it is saying 'ow just be quiet i dont want to listen to you' and stuff like that.

    this idea has nothing to do with animal jam XD but the prizes could be animal jam prizes!
    Ok so on a range of numbers from 1 to 100. You say we have a few days to pick ANY number in that range.
    Before you announce the contest, think of a number for yourself and write it down. Then that number you pick would be the winning one!
    Anyways after a few days, whoever got closest or luckily THE number you originally pick, would win and get the prize!
    is this confusing? i hope not! i just wanted to help out :3

      It's maths...equations. Say, there's a sum with y in it instead of a number. You have to work out what number y is...it's confusing, and much more complicated than my example.

      Like this;
      2y+4=64
      (This one's really simple, but to work it out algebraically you do this;
      First you find the variable [y] and the numbers that are keeping it from being isolated [2, and 4] You get rid of these numbers by undoing the order of operations PEMDAS[parentheses exponents multiplication division and then subtraction] So you do that only backwards, you can see addition comes after multiplication, the only other tool in this problem, so you get rid of this by doing the opposite to both sides. so you subtract 4 from both sides.
      2y+4=64
      -4 -4
      Now you have; 2y=60, now because there are 2 ys and we can simplify this even more you divide both sides by 2. In the end you get y=60) I'm assuming the chances of that making sense were slim to none D: My math book for school is online, so I can link you to the lesson when we first started learning about this, in a more recent lessons I've been learning that when the variable is squared, you use the inverse operation on both sides, which is square rooting, although I knew this it's easy to forget.
      I'm actually not in algebra YET, but the majority of my lessons pertain to it. I'm going into it next year, so most of what I said is prep my teacher has us do for it, although it is on our tests =.= Ahaha, look at me ranting, I apologize.

      Algebra is when there is a number missing in a sum and you have to figure it out. Here is an example:

      x+x=2

      What is X?

      The answer would be one.

      There are harder versions like this:

      Y=6
      X=238
      P=23

      YxP+(X+Y+P)= ?

      You probably would have to use a calculator for that since it is pretty hard. I have to use one. Here is the answer:

    Writing's fun. A Narrative Contest? The sharing of personal experience is always fun, especially when it pertains to a certain subject. Maybe you could have us write about a night we spent camping, or even just venturing outside. If some of your followers don't go outside often this could be just the motivation they need to take a night hike, or morning stroll :)

    And if that idea doesn't intrigue you, you could possibly have a collage contest. We could put together pictures of a specific animal, with facts sprawled around the page as well. I'm assuming it would be rated on how legible the print and/or type is, the quality of the overall piece, the accuracy of the facts, and originality.

    I've no more ideas at the current time, but I hope you consider these couple I've brainstormed.

    You should host a contest where Jammers send you a funny screenshot! It should be an Animal Jam screenshot, of course. No swearing or anything inappropriate. For example, one that I've noticed on Sheesh4's blog is where an animal is in Brady's Lab, standing next to the closet with the giant reptile in it. The animal says, "Mommy! There's a monster in my closet! :C"

    I'd love to see everyone's entries if you did that contest! XD
